A public address (PA) system is an electronic sound amplification and distribution system used to make announcements or play music to a large audience. It typically consists of a microphone, an amplifier, and one or more loudspeakers. The microphone captures sound, which is then amplified and sent to the speakers, making the sound audible to a larger group.  The electrical signal from the microphone is then sent to an amplifier. The amplifier increases the power of the signal, making it strong enough to drive the loudspeakers.
