RFID and ANPR entry vehicle

An RFID Automated Boom Barrier System is a security and access control solution that integrates RFID technology with automatic barrier mechanisms to regulate and manage vehicle entry and exit at a specific location. A boom barrier system is often used to improve security and streamline access control in a variety of situations, including parking lots, residential and commercial complexes, industrial sites, and transportation centers, where RFID-based windshield tags are used to verify the vehicle. The system’s automatic nature accelerates access control processes. Vehicles or individuals wearing valid RFID tags can pass through without stopping, cutting wait times and boosting traffic flow. Normally, it would be coming in Low Frequency (LF), High Frequency (HF), and Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) types of access.

An ANPR – Automatic Number Plate Recognition system is a technology that uses optical character recognition (OCR) on images to identify vehicle registration plates and create vehicle location data. It’s a form of networked CCTV specifically designed for vehicle identification and is widely used for traffic enforcement, security, and various commercial applications. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software then reads the characters on the license plate and converts the image of the plate into machine-encoded text. ANPR can be used to monitor gate entries and exits, restrict unauthorized entry, and track vehicle movements within a certified facility.
